Accomodation

  • Is linen included in the Units /Cabins?

All main beds are made up and towels provided. We understand that sometimes accommodation can be quite expensive for families so there is only a fitted sheet on the beds in the 2nd room which gives you the option of bringing your own linen or if you prefer, you can hire linen packs for an addtional cost

If you want to bring your own linen for the 2nd room, you will need a quilt /sleeping bag, pillows and towels.

  • How many people can stay in a room?

Fire Regulations /Insurance stipulate the maximum number of people allowed for each cabin is determined by number of beds.

  • Why don't you guarantee the Site /Cabin I choose?

Whilst we do our absolute best to keep your preferences in mind, however, we ultimately run a business and it's important that we minimise the number of gaps (no bookings) in bookings.

Keeping that in mind , there are other reasons we need to move bookings around

  • Sometimes the person who stayed in the cabin/ site you requested the night before extended their stay.

  • Maintenance is required on your site /cabin

  • During busy times, December to Easter, the Park gets quite busy and sometime we have to accommodate many requests. For example, some people want to be near the amenties, groups want to be together and sometimes we shuffle bookings around to avoid issues like, having grey nomads being in amongst a group of families (especially on sites). Please be assured that we do keep your preferences in mind and we do our best to accomodate you.

Please Note: Your deposit guarentees a booking at the Murray Bridge Tourist Park - it doesn't guarentee a particular cabin /site.

Facilities

Yes, we certainly do! The Pool usually opens the first weekend in October (weather dependent) and closes in the middle of April (usually after Easter but is weather dependant)

  • Are fires permitted?

Fires are not permitted on individual sites, however, we have a communal campfire at the Camp kitchen. We usally start the fire (weather dependent) on request during the cooler climate.

  • Do you have WIFI internet access?

Yes, however it only works in close proximity to the office. We are working on extending the coverage to the rest of Park but we are waiting for better Internet....

  • Are you a family friendly Park?

Yes and No. If you are looking for a jumping pillow, playground and activites for kids, our park is probably not for you. However, we do offer a clean tidy park for a low price all year round.

Instead of a playground, we do have future plans to have activities like a giant Chess set and giant Jenga which is suitable for all ages so we will keep you posted on our Facebook page.

  • Do you have a dump point?

Yes, we do. Please refer to Park map for it's loation

  • Does the amenities block have a code?

We have keys to access the Amenities /Laundry. Outside the busy times, we will provide 2 sets of keys per site.

  • Do you have BBQ’s /Camp Kitchen

Yes, we certainly do. We have a lovely entertaining area which has lots of sitting, campfire, 2 BBQ, large commercial fridge, sink, microwave, kettle , toaster and oven.

You are required to bring your own equipment and please clean up afterwards so it's clean for the next person.

General Questions

  • Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we are! we are even pet friendly in some of our cabins! Please contact the office directly for details about our pet friendly cabins.

Pets are welcome all year around.

Regardless of how friendly or old your pooch is, they still need to be on a lead at all times and please pick up after them.

Also, keep in mind that the Park is a busy place so if you know your pooch is likely to bark at anything and everything that moves, it might be best to make other accommodation arragements for your pooch.

  • I'm not staying at the Park, can i come in and pay to use the showers?

If you just require a shower, we charge $7 per person to access the amenities block during office hours

  • What time is check in?

Check in time is after 2pm. Checkin may be available earlier but you would need to ring the Park on the morning of check in as it would depend on when the overnight guests leave, when the cleaner can get to it, and how many cabins need to be cleaned overall.

  • What time is check out?

Check out time is strictly 10am

  • What are your opening hours?

We are open from 8.30am - 6pm every day.

  • What if we won’t be there to check-in before the reception closes?

No problems! just ring the office before 6pm to let us know, make sure the night is prepaid and we will leave an envelope out for you.

  • Why do you have a strict 10pm noise curfew

We have many groups of people staying in the Park. Some are workers, grey and young nomads, some are families, some are international tourists and we believe everyone staying in the Park has the right to peace and quiet from 10pm to 7am.

We advertise and market our Park as the "quiet park" so we ask that you please be respectful of your neighbours and those around you and minimise loud talking, banging of car doors, etc after 10pm

The only time we make an exception to this rule is on New Years Eve when we extend the noise curfew to Midnight

Basically, in exchange for payment of site /cabin fees, our guests agree to abide by Park rules which is, in essence,  please be respectful of those around you.
